My wife and I moved to NH just after the collapse of the Old Man, little did we know that a lot more than that had gone with him, first and foremost, common sense. We are not native's and left a state that long ago had lost all common sense and decency. In my opinion, the most corrupt state in the union, MA. Now we find you've elected and absolute idiot for governor, from Waltham MA, who believes it's a civil rights issue for people of the same sex to marry and don't tell me that's not next. Stop blaming the people who moved here from Massachusetts, my wife and I have always been ultra conservatives and now find ourselves surrounded by a bunch of idiots, who voted for Lynch, Kerry and for the first time in over a hundred years, a democrat legislature. If you natives are looking for someone to blame up here, look in the mirror. By the way, what ever happened to all those alleged charges lodged against the previous Republican Governor? We moved here to get away from such idiocy and found out you people haven't learned a damn thing by observing what's been going on just south of your own state, I think The Old Man commited suicide.

The passing and signing of legislation allowing same-sex civil unions is just another gross example of the values (or lack thereof) espoused by a few secular-minded individuals being cramed down the throats of the moral, conservative majority. Politicians more and more are ignoring the will of their constituents, and moving their own selfish agenda, initially hidden from the voters. It is infuriating to be powerless to keep this from happening. When announcing his support of this missguided legislation, Governor Lynch speaks of upholding the values that NH has long stood for. What, is he nuts? Whose values is he referring to? Certainly not our historical values, or those held by the majority. As a proud New Hampshire native I am sickened by the obvious lopsided influence of the many people who have only resently moved to this state, only to turn it into the place they came from. Unfortunately, when you give these people an inch, they take a mile.
